Zoe Saldana arrived to the London premiere of Star Trek Into Darkness in bold fashion.
The actress wore a black and white silk, geometric dress from Vionnet with an open back and beaded detail on the front.
But with the windy weather and the numerous folds of her skirt, Zoe, 34, needed some help keeping it in place as she walked the white carpet.

Everyone gets involved: Alice Eve, Benedict Cumberbatch and Zachary Quinto help Zoe Saldana fix her dress
Luckily her hair was in firm placed, styled into a wavy side updo and just a touch of red lipstick to add some colour to the monochrome outfit.
But as they lined up for a group photo, the actress needed her co-stars help to keep her dress in check.
Stunning: Pushing the boundaries on fashion, Zoe certainly pulls off this unusual dress
Flawless elegance: Zoe looked chic in her knockout monochrome dress, adopting her perfect pout as she turned towards the camera
Benedict, Zachary and Alice all tried to help Zoe with her gown while Chris Pine looked on with concern.
Eventually they managed to keep the folded skirt sections in place and could pose together near the ginormous Starfleet logo.
Alice, 31, opted for a more straightforward outfit, wearing an Ermanno Scervino suede, strapless dress with a black waisted belt that stood out from the material’s natural tan colour.
Zoe, Simon, Chris, Zach and Karl all reprise their roles as Nyota Uhura, Scotty, James T. Kirk, Spock and Bones, while Alice is the latest addition to the Starship Enterprise as Dr. Carol Marcus.
Natural: Alice kept her hair simple with a bun, and her make-up look glowing with smoky eyes and nude lip
Snap happy! Chris captures the crowd on his iPhone as a memento of the occasion
Benedict joins Star Trek as the villain John Harrison, also known as Khan.
The second movie in the updated sci-fi franchise follows Kirk, Spock and the rest of the crew of the Enterprise who come across an unstoppable force of terror from within Starfleet.
It’s up to the Captain Kirk to boldly go into a war-zone world to capture this one man weapon of mass destruction.
Good and bad: Simon and co-star Benedict reflected their characters’ personalities in light and dark suits
Chris Pine looked like he just stepped off Saville Row in a three-piece suit complete with polka dot handkerchief that matched his purple tie.
Stylish: Noel Clarke came to see the film he starred in, that was written by Damon Lindelof
The 32-year old actor also sported a tidy beard with flecks of grey, no doubt for a character in his next film.
Simon Pegg wore a grey suit too but his colour palette was based in blue.
A far cry from the Spaced character that launched his career, Simon, 43, looked every bit the Hollywood star.
The other guests adding some star dust to the night were actor/directors Noel Clarke and Dexter Fletcher.
Bo Bruce features on the soundtrack of the movie, but looked more like a Klingon than a celebrity guest on the night.
Going nude: The singer opted for muted tones, matching her skintight dress to her skin colour stilettos
Klingon? Bo Bruce arrived in a red dress and four tier headband, looking like an alien extra from the movie
But it wasn’t just Starfleet in attendance, as the cast was joined by the writer Damon Lindelof, who has worked with Abrams for a number of years, including on TV series Lost.
Bold colours: Linzi Stoppard and Tanya Burr arrived in purple and white to watch the sci-fi flick
Kimberley Wyatt, Dakota Blue, Linzi Stoppard and Tanya Burr also arrived in colourful fashion, while Stephen Fry, John Bishop and Al Murray kept it suited and booted.
Star Trek Into Darkness opens in UK cinemas on May 9th
Funny men: Al Murray and John Bishop were amongst the guests on Thursday night
