Ex-MAVIN artiste, Wande Coal is telling whoever cares to listen that he was under no contractual obligation with the record label.
The talented artiste who had a public fall-out with his former label boss, Don Jazzy said, “The song Babyface was supposed to be on my album but since we fell out it was just void. I didn’t have no contract, I was just helping out.”
Don Jazzy had accused Wande Coal of recording a song, Babyface without giving credit to him. The public spat came to a head with the MAVIN management issuing a release announcing Coal’s final disengagement from the label.
Wande Coal addressed the lingering controversy on Vox Africa UK’s ”Live at Battersea” with Adesope.
