Charged: Amanda Hein, 26, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, has been charged with murder after admitting to killing her live newborn son.

Police have arrested a 26 year old woman after she gave birth in the bathroom of a busy sports bar, and dumped her live baby in the toilet cistern before returning to watch a wrestling match covered in blood stained clothing.

Employees at the Starters Pub near Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, found a dead baby inside the tank of the toilet inside the women’s bathroom on August 17th.

Police have said that Amanda Catherine, aged 26, admitted that she gave birth to her child, before suffocating it.

The woman claimed she had only known of her pregnancy for a few months and did not want to tell anyone she was pregnant, of inform anyone of when she went into labor. Police state that if convicted, she could face the death penalty.

When Catherine Hein was questioned by officers, she admitted to giving birth and killing her son in the bars toilets, before wrapping him up in a plastic bag and leaving him in the cistern of the toilet.

Owner of the bar, David Rank, said that his staff were very upset by the whole incident, and offered anyone of them to go home early.

“My biggest concern is for my employees, the mother and the baby” said Rank.
