Many Nigerians will tell you they can’t wait to return to the country of their origin but a few others can even bear the thought of living in a country that, according to them, doesn’t give you an opportunity to grow and reach your potential.

In a YouTube video recently posted by Kola Olaosebikan a Nigerian currently residing in the United States, she noted the ills facing the country and the chronic lack of will on the part of government and citizens to stand up and effect a change.

Olaosebikan stated the reasons for leaving the country and why she should not be expected back anytime soon. She ended the Video-log post by asserting that she will “continue to rep Naija… from afar.” How’s that for patriotism?

Watch the video below and let’s know what you think.

  1. There is no place like home, apart from that one even if you have to go there, you have to go there for a good reason. In that way you will feel secured but in a situation whereby you are just roaming the street looking for a place, you are just wasting your time.

  2. Who even asked her to come back to naija.
Naija needs bold and courageous citizens and not cowards who can’t stand when needed.

  3. Even it is me i will n’t come back again, if i have the opportunity to go abroad

  4. God has created man and blessed him. The next step left for man is the decision of what to become either to be poor or rich. But why are we still poor? The answer is that we have chosen our way not His will.
