To underscore his determination to make the proposed National Conference a success, President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed eminent jurist, Idris Kutigi as head of the conference.

Kutigi is to be assisted on the national assignment by the former minister of Foreign Affairs, Professor Bolaji Akinyemi.

This appointment was announced by Anyim Pius Anyim, the secretary to the Government of the Federation in Abuja on Monday.

Dr. Valerie Azinge is to serve as secretary of the conference and therefore in charge of the secretariat.
