7 killed, several abducted in Boko Haram’s attack of village in Borno

Boko Haram insurgents have killed 7 civilians in Kamuya village,in Biu local government area of Borno.

The village, which is located along the border between Borno and Yobe states, was reportedly attacked on Thursday, December 10.

Several people, including young boys and girls were also said to have been abducted by the insurgents.

According to Sahara Reporters, a local vigilante Ali Biu disseminated information on the attack

Biu was quoted to have said that the marauding insurgents burned Kamuya village to the ground.

“We received a report early this morning that they [Boko Haram] slaughtered 7 people including 2 women and 5 elderly men at around 10:30 pm last night [Thursday].”
