The culture of African nations dragging each other on social media is slowly becoming a norm that many Africans are getting used to, but as it seems, it is mostly between Nigeria and other top African nations. A few days ago, it was Nigeria vs Uganda and just like that trend, people from both countries compared themselves as they pointed out what they believe makes them better than their counterparts. From complexion tone to cities, and even buildings, nothing is safe in any Twitter war.

While in these ‘Twitter country wars,’ there are no actual winners, Nigerians always feel like they are winning the battle and it’s safe to say that Nigeria Twitter isn’t usually the first to throw the stones of war. Other African nations, the ones who usually are at the other end of the battle, always feel like Nigerians, feel so entitled and full of themselves. On Twitter, #KenyaVsNigeria is trending and just like other Twitter country fights, the two nations are calling out each other over things in their respective countries.
