Minister of Information and Culture has threatened to sue the Daily Independent newspaper over a report on the ‘Change Begins With Me’ campaign.
The newspaper had reported that the concept was stolen by the minister and that the campaign gulped N3.4 billion, which he both denied.
He also threatened to also sue one Akin Fadeyi and Omo Bazuaye for alleging that he stole the campaign idea from them.
The Information Minister, through his lawyers, Falana & Falana’s Chambers, said the newspaper as well as Fadeyi and Bazuaye have 7 days to retract the “libelous” statements or be ready to meet him in court.
Nigerians need to know that false accusing people is a crime…I hope the Daily Independent and Bazuaye get huge fines
