Suspended lawmaker, Hon Abdulmumin Jibrin (remember him?) has not stopped commenting on political issues in the country albeit from an aloof stance.
Although he’s no longer making headlines as he did at the time his whistleblowing was loudest, the lawmaker is still as opinionated as we remember him.
In a tweet he shared tonight, Hon Jibrin likened the different arms of government with the narratives that are synonymous with them this period and seeing them all placed side by side drives home the point that there is a good measure of abnormality in President Buhari’s government.
Presidency-PMB's health, Senate-Magu-Ali-uniform, House-budget padding, Judiciary-sting operation. Can these bad narratives ever change?

What also amazes us about this tweet is that Hon Jibrin has not let go of his budget padding accusations despite the House’s successful attempt at killing off the matter.
Anyway, we agree with Hon Jibrin on this one but to answer his question on if these bad narratives will ever change, we think yes. The bad narratives will change, but not for good; we think they will get worse at this rate.
One last thought! When does this man’s suspension elapse?
