It’s been nearly two weeks since Senator Dino Melaye appeared before the Senate Committee for Ethics and Privilege to admit under an oath that he graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. The senator was accused by online news medium of not graduating from ABU as he claims.

In a bid to convince Nigerians and anyone else who is bothered about his university education, Senator Melaye published a photo of his statement of result, a photo of his NYSC discharge certificate and finished off by attending a plenary session at the National Assembly in an academic gown.

It might be victory at last for Senator Melaye now that he has an actual certificate to show off. He shared photos from his visit to his alma mater on his Instagram page and we could not help but notice this one where he has his certificate raised for all who care to see. He actually posted it three times, for emphasis. And we see the name on the certificate is Daniel Jonah Melaye, the name he claims he used to bear before he officially changed to Dino Melaye.

Well, there you have it. It looks like a certificate, doesn’t it? If it wasn’t genuine, the “Dinoists” around him would have said something *shrugs*.  Should we expect another hit track from the senator as he celebrates this certificate?
