Acting Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu is currently sitting before the upper chamber of the National Assembly.
Senator Dino Melaye read a fresh report submitted by the DSS only yesterday discrediting the EFCC Chairman.
According to Melaye, paragraph 14 of the report reads that “In the light of the foregoing, Magu has failed the integrity test and will eventually constitute a liability to the anti-corruption drive of the present administration.”
Melaye went on to assert that for anyone to be qualified as EFCC Chairman, he must be free of blemish, must be pure and must be stainless.
He directed a question to Magu: “Do you still see yourself qualified as the Chairman of the EFCC or we’ve paid you to Golgotha?”
The screening is still ongoing and Magu is responding to the DSS’ claims.
