The Nollywood stars have assembled for the production of the action-thriller film ‘Force Empire’, which is set for release in cinemas nationwide on August 23.
The film, produced by Ndy Akan under her production company, Viensa Production, Ndi tells the story of DCP Mfon, a woman (portrayed by Nse Ikpe-Etim) who is focused on eradicating the villain who assaulted and humiliated her trainee, ASP Halima (Enwongoabasi Ibom).
DCP Mfon takes it upon herself to bring the perpetrator to justice; fueled with anger and vengeance, she vows to expose the identities of the corrupt officers serving in the Nigerian Police Force (NPF).
The film is set to star multiple A-list Nollywood actors such as Mercy Aigbe, Richard Mofe Damijo, Segun Arinze, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Kunle Coker, Tony Umez, Sonny McDon, Richard Johnson, Aniebiet Francis, and more.
The ‘Force Empire’ is set to be released in cinemas across Nigeria on August 23 as it aims to “highlight and encourage the outstanding police officers within the Nigeria Police Force while also addressing the unfortunate actions of a few that have tarnished its reputation,” according to Ndy Akan.
