Movie premiere: ‘Phone Swap’ to debut in Lagos, Abuja and Accra

Brace yourself for the most anticipated movie of the year.

‘Phone Swap’, the latest feature film produced and directed by Kunle Afolayan is set to premiere in the cities of Lagos, Abuja and Accra, Ghana.

Nigeria’s entertainment capital, Lagos will be the first to feel the action on Saturday, 17 March at the Eko Hotel and suites after which all roads would lead to the Silverbird cinemas, Abuja come Saturday, 24 March. The Ghana premiere will hold on Thursday, 5 April at the Silverbird cinemas in Accra. The theatrical release date has been set for 30 March in cinemas nationwide.

‘Phone Swap’ is Afolayan’s first movie since the critically and commercially successful, ‘The Figurine’ and it features the acting talents of Nse Ikpe-Etim, Wale Ojo, Joke Silva, Lydia Forson and Chika Okpala.

It is billed as a romantic comedy about two polar opposites whose lives intersect after they accidentally switch phones in a busy airport.
