We don’t know much about the plot details, but Grut has revealed that the movie is based on true events and deals with the abuse of people longing for a better life outside their native country. Written by Kingsley Emmanuel, The Department of Applied Chemistry is produced by Norwegian filmmaker Bjørn Bratli, known for works like The Middle (2015) and short film and Next II Mine (2017), and directed by Sam Mason-Bell. Isime just wrapped shooting with Chimney Love’s latest project Hire a Woman. This year, Isime has starred in Disguise, Johnny Just Come, and the Imoh Umoren heist thriller Club. She was also seen on a movie set in Calabar for Austin Nnaemeka’s movie Omambala.
