The National Football League (NFL) has contributed $100,000 to assist Kai Cenat in his educational project in Makoko, Lagos State.
Makoko is a highly populated slum known for its stilted and floating buildings along the waterfront in Lagos.
This donation follows a charity event in New Orleans where Cenat and fellow content creator IShowSpeed faced off. The competition took place before Super Bowl LIX.
Although IShowSpeed’s team emerged victorious with a score of 30-29, the NFL revealed a total donation of $200,000 to the creators’ foundations.
“$100,000 for Speed’s foundation, which benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and Kai Cenat’s foundation to aid his school initiative in Nigeria,” stated the NFL, among other details.
