Nigerian troops recapture 3 communities in Adamawa (See Photos)

The Nigerian military combating terrorism in the North east have reportedly taken full control of three communities in Adamawa State.

According to the website of the Defence Headquarters in Abuja, the troops have fully recaptured Gombi, Pelia and Hong communities in the state from insurgents.

The communities are among the areas taken over by insurgents in the past few weeks leaving many citizens displace and others killed.

The ongoing military operations in the North-Eastern Nigeria is to clear all areas affected by terrorists operations. Mopping up exercise is ongoing while the troops are moving to other communities in what a top security officer described as ‘Operation No Mercy’.
