New reports say Nigerian soldiers have recaptured three towns – Gwoza, Marte and Baga – in Borno state, from the Boko Haram Islamic sect.

According to the CableNG, top security sources confirmed the development saying  Nigerian and Chadian soldiers successfully recaptured the towns

“Kukawa, another Borno town, “could possibly have been recaptured as well,” the source reportedly said.
