Former chairman of the House committee on appropriation Abdulmumin Jibrin has denied media reports that he was sacked.
Earlier today it was reported that the Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara had sacked Jibrin as the committee’s chairman.
Honourable Jibrin made the clarification via his Twitter account (@AbdulAmbJ), saying he stepped down in the interest of the House.
Today, I stepped down as the Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation.
