A new month brings new Nollywood movies and series to enjoy! In March 2025, filmmakers are set to release exciting stories that will entertain and impress audiences.
From dramas to thrillers, Nollywood continues to grow, delivering fresh and creative productions. Here’s a list of movies and series coming out this month that you won’t want to miss!
- Tales of Ramadan (March 1)

Set in Northern Nigeria, this six-part series tells the story of various families, emphasising themes of family bonds, friendship, and culinary traditions during the holy month of Ramadan, providing a heartfelt and culturally enriching story.
The cast includes Uzee Usman, Ummi Baba Ahmed, Ijapari Ben-Hirki, and Adam Garba. Directed by Orire Nwani, the series is produced by Josh Olaoluwa, Ifeoluwa Fatogun, and Hope Eniayekan, with cinematography by Davidson ‘Fedworks’ Edeogu and written by Tomi Folowosele.
- Cartel (March 7)

“Cartel” is an upcoming thriller that dives into the dangerous world of drug trafficking, power struggles, and betrayal. Packed with intense action, the film features a star-studded cast, including Bolanle Ninalowo, Broda Shaggi, Clarion Chukwurah, Rosemary Zimu, Eniola Badmus, Chika Ike, and Nkechi Blessing. Produced by Elvis Chucks, the movie was released in cinemas nationwide.
- Suky (March 7)

Suky, born into a renowned Dambe boxing family, finds his life shattered when he ends up in Ajah Prison, where only his fists can keep him alive. Directed by Ola Cardoso, this action-packed drama features a powerful cast, including Tobi Bakre, Femi Adebayo, and Bimbo Ademoye. A production of Filmbank Productions and Nemsiah Studios, Suky is available for streaming on Prime Video.
- Red Line (March 14)

“Red Line” is a film set within the walls of a Nigerian university. It focuses on the harsh lives of students who fall victim to the pandemic of “sex for grades.” Set in City University, the film tells the story of a lecturer, Professor Obaseki who is accused of sexual harassment by a student, unknowingly triggering the revelation of corruption and secrecy within the university.
Produced by Eno Udo and Directed by Teco Benson, “Red Line” stars Shaffy Bello, Adunni Ade, Nobert Young, Sam Dede, and Tony Akposheri.
- Finding Me (March 16)

While the plot remains under wraps, Finding Me has already generated excitement with its star-studded cast, including Femi Adebayo, Joseph Benjamin, Shaffy Bello, Omoni Oboli, Omowunmi Dada, Sharon Ooja, Efa Iwara, Tina Mba, Dele Odule, Abdulgafar Abiola (The Cute Abiola), and Emeka Nwagbaraocha. Co-directed by Isioma Osaje, Finding Me will be available for streaming on Prime Video on March 16.
- I Am Anis (March 21)

“I Am Anis,” a movie based on real-life events. The plot centres on Anisola Williams, whose seemingly perfect life spirals into unexpected chaos, revealing hidden truths she never anticipated. “I Am Anis” explores themes of rebellion, consequences, and personal redemption.
The movie’s cast includes Shaffy Bello, Tina Mba, Debo Adedayo (Mr Macaroni), Rykardo Agbor, Lina Idoko, Martha Ehinome Orhiere, Charles Inojie, Chimela Nwachukwu, Karen Spikes, Toyin Oshinaike, and others. Written by Mannie Oiseomaye and Biodun Stephen, with Stephen also playing the role of a producer and director, “I Am Anis” is set to premiere on March 21st, exclusively on www.circuits.tv.
- The Artifact (March 21)

The Artifact is an adventure movie directed by Tolu Awobiyi (Tolu Lord Tanner). The story follows four friends on a daring quest across multiple Nigerian states to retrieve precious stones from ancient artifact, all while being hunted by powerful forces. The film boasts a talented cast, including Adeoluwa Akintoba, Callitus Akunaeziri, Godspower Nwogwugwu, Ovy Godwin, Sharon Rotimi, Miracle Iyanda, Kunle Remi, Gabriel Afolayan, Bimbo Manuel, and Okey Uzoeshi.
- Cursed Bonds (March 21)

“Cursed Bonds” is a project between Nigeria and Liberia, featuring a diverse cast from both countries. The film stars Zubby Michael and Omowunmi Dada from Nigeria, alongside Victor Padmore and Grace Weah from Liberia. It premiered on February 13, 2025, at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Monrovia, Liberia, and is set to hit cinemas in Nigeria.
- Baby Farm (March 21)
Produced by Mo Abudu’s EbonyLife, this gripping series follows Adanna, a pregnant woman who unknowingly hands over her unborn twins to an NGO, only to realize she’s fallen into a sinister baby farm. Trapped in a web of deceit, she must fight for survival against the ruthless Doctor Oliver Evans and his wife.
Directed by Kayode Kasum and Walter ‘Waltbanger’ Taylaur, the series stars Rita Dominic, Onyinye Odokoro, Joseph Benjamin, Genoveva Umeh, Langley Kirkwood, and Jenny Stead. Streaming on Netflix for African subscribers.
- Labake Olododo (March 28)

Directed by Biodun Stephen and produced by Iyabo Ojo, Labake Olododo follows the journey of Labake (played by Iyabo Ojo), a fearless warrior who defies societal norms in her unwavering fight for justice. Along the way, she faces immense trials that challenge her resilience, beliefs, and sense of duty. The film features a stellar cast, including Mercy Aigbe, Odunlade Adekola, Toyin Abraham, Fathia Balogun, Broda Shaggi, Muka Ray, and Wumi Toriola.
- The Masked King (March 28)

Though the plot of “The Masked King” is yet to be revealed, the movie is poised to have themes of betrayal, power and destiny. The movie is directed by Uduak Patrick, written by Awal Abdulfatai Rahmat, and stars Daniel Etim-Effiong, Shaffy Bello, Uche Montana, Gideon Okeke, Uzor Arukwe, Segun Arinze, Jude Chukwuka, Jenny Stead, Bernard Raubenheimer, and more.
