The Expo center of Eko hotels was transformed into an exhibition ground from 6th-8th April as Oaken Event brought ‘Flare’ to Lagos. ‘Flare’ is an events fair that featured top shots in events planning and management, educational sessions and consultations with the vendors. World renowned event designer Preston Bailey, award winning bridal designer Yemi Osunkoya of Kosibah and certified balloon artist, Tope Abulude were on hand to talk to guests, also showing them a variety of services a typical event needs to be transformed into a memorable one. From bridal gowns to chair covers, those who attended the fair had lots of material to take home. Some of the exhibitors included, Newton and David, House of Tara, Total consult, TW magazine, Absolute Elegance, Cakes by Tosan, Adam & Eve, and Flower Plus, and some of the speakers at the educational sessions were, Kelechi Amadi Obi, Gideon Okeke, IK Osakioduwa, Adesuwa Oyenokwe, Amanda Amusan, Ade Plumptre, Emeka Okafor and a host of others.
