Once again, Nathaniel Bassey takes the top spot on our top 10 gospel artiste countdown

You just gotta give it to this one man – Nathaniel Bassey who got the whole world worshipping, literally. Although the song was released just a few days before the end of the month, it effortlessly made itself the song of the month. The song, written by Rotimi Keys and sung by Nathaniel Bassey (ft. Wale Adenuga) is one of the few gospel songs that climbed up the top 10 chart is just a couple of days. That’s record breaking!

Since Nathaniel Bassey was one of those few voices we dedicated the month of June to as a result of the Hallelujah Challenge, his song, Alagbada Ina readily remained in the same position as last month.

Somehow, Kingsley Innocent a.k.a KaeStrings was one of those few musicians who benefitted positively from the fame of the Hallelujah Challenge. On one of the days, Nathaniel Bassey introduced us to this song and in no time, the name of the Zaria-based artiste was all over the place. It’s surprising especially because the song had been released since October 2016 and Nathaniel Bassey had not met him in person as at the time.

Ada Ehi has shown so much resilience as her song, Only You still remains number 10 – same as last month on the top 10 chart).
