Osun state House of Assembly has inaugurated seven-man committee that will investigate the petition seeking a probe that will lead to the impeachment of Governor Rauf Aregbesola.
This was to put a stop to speculations that it was attempting to sweep the petition written against Aregbesola by a serving Judge, Justice Folahanmi Oloyede, under the carpet.
The Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Najeem Salaam, who inaugurated the committee on Thursday said during a press briefing at the state House of Assembly that the committee would work for two weeks and come up with their recommendations.
He therefore urged them to carry out the assignment without prejudice.
