Prestige Anchor Leadership, Empowerment and Capacity Building Awards and Student Leadership Conference SEASON ONE was held at Minna, Niger State covering Niger State Campus tagged: Celebrating the Ultimate.

PALEC AWARDS AND SLC 1.0 held massively at Minna, Niger State bringing together over 700 young and vibrant leaders where 46 young leaders, firm, individuals, advocates and activists were awarded. The event was highly graced by special guests of honors, Presidents of Leadership Platforms, Chief Executive, Officers, School Principal Officers, Commissioner for Youths among others. It also features raffle draws, spark a brain speech from firms, free celebration meal, sponsored awards for internship, leadership mantle and charge among others.

The Convener of PALEC AWARDS AND SLC SEASON TWO – Leader Adebayo Nathaniel Ademola has confirmed THE NORTH CENTRAL CAMPUS INVASION. This edition shall cover 10 Campus in North central in 5 states at ABUJA.

The THEME for this edition shall be “EMERGING THE INDOMITABLE”.

Leadership is action not position little wonder so many people tend to embrace position rather than the act of good governance. A leader steps up in times of crisis, and is able to think and act creatively in difficult situations. Unlike management, leadership cannot be taught, although it may be learned and enhanced through coaching or mentoring. With the high rate of turbulence in this 21st century it is much easier to accept the status quo of life in a bid to survive in any sphere we find ourselves. Pondering on the life of great heroes like NELSON MENDELA who in midst of fierce oppositions never gave up on his dream to overcome racism and bring equality to his nation South Africa. He possessed an unbeatable spirit which remained indomitable even after he was jailed for 27 years. He kept on until he achieved it.

It dawned on me after keen realisation that everyman possess a trait of uniqueness and everyman is endowed with dexterity to face life challenges and impart if only we are willing to get in touch with the unsubduable part of us. Therefore for you to be an indomitable leader then you must have strong vision, passion, and be a RISK TAKER.

S = Sacrifice: Make sacrifice to make things work
K = Knowledge: Have enough information to trust the decision

You also can decide like Nelson Mandela to discover your passions and believe you can achieve it following through life obstacles unbeatably. For all campus leaders, entrepreneurs, advocates, platforms, individuals etc who had emerged indomitably shall be recognised celebrated and awarded at the event. We shall empower campus entrepreneurs and all student awardee shall pass through a mentorship and coaching session.
