Police parade ex-DSS operative, 10 other suspected kidnappers

The Nigeria Police Force has paraded suspects allegedly responsible for kidnappings and other violent crimes in Abuja and other states in the country.
The Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Jimoh Moshood said this on Wednesday while briefing newsmen at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, said 11 members of the gang had been arrested by the IGP Intelligence Response Team (IRT).
Those arrested are: Kelvin Emeka, the overall gang leader, Ndubusi Prince, the second in command and Abdulrasheed Maigari, a dismissed DSS personnel.

Others are Sunday Travnor, Zayor Alfred, Avah Joseph, Gabriel Friday, Rajab Baba Ishiaka, Ali Sani 27, Nuhu Sule, Mohammed Abubakar.
The Police recovered one AK 47 Rifle, three AK 47 magazines, ninety rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition, two pistols, fourteen round of 9mm live ammunitions, and two bedroom flats at different locations in Suleja.
The accused were said to have kidnapped Alh. Isa Ozi Salami OFR, former GM PAN.

According to the police, the suspects were identified by the victims. They also confessed to the crime admitting to the various roles they played in the commission of various kidnappings, armed robberies and other violent crimes linked to them and will be charged to court on completion of investigation.
