A police officer was killed on Wednesday while attempting to arrest a law breaking bus driver in Oshodi, Lagos.
Apparently, the deceased jumped into the moving bus, while attempting to apprehend the driver, who was picking up passengers along the road.
The bus sped off while trying to escape, and hit another car.
The sudden stop made the policeman, who was hanging-on to the bus, fall off.
Just as he fell, a trailer ran over him, killing him instantly.
Seeing the accident, the commercial bus driver and his conductor took to their heels, leaving the vehicle behind.
