President Buhari returns to Abuja after ECOWAS meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Abuja having attended the meeting of the ECOWAS Task Force on Common Currency earlier in Niamey, Republic of Niger.

This was made known by Buhari’s Special Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmed on Twitter.

The meeting was organised to discuss a common currency for the West African sub-region of which President Buhari asked that there should be caution against arriving at a final decision, citing the example of the ever-changing diversities of the countries concerned.
