[The Presidential Blog] Throwback to the last time you saw the President photographed

You already know we have a thing for tracking the President’s whereabouts through his official photographer, Bayo Omoboriowo.

[In case you missed it: Why we have no doubt the President is coming back tomorrow]

And lately, one question that has been crossing our minds with a frequency that has made it hard to brush off is: “Where is President Buhari?”

After we finally asked out loud yesterday when we heard the FEC meeting did not hold this week – following a week when the President was absent at the meeting – we were hit with news of Vice President Osinbajo meeting with parents of abducted Chibok girls last night.

[Read here: Did the FEC meeting not hold because of a missing memo or a missing president]

That’s in addition to all the responsibilities we identified that the Vice President has been handling lately – and which have little or no relation to the economy.

So we did the next best thing in our bid to find what the President has been up to. We checked Bayo Omoboriowo’s Instagram and it turns the photographer has been more about his #Unabashed photography training tour and meeting up with icons like Mike Murdoch and the DG of National Export Promotion Council.

The last time he posted a photo of the President was on the 5th of April:

So, again, we ask, where is President Buhari?
