[The Presidential Blog] We’ll let you decide who the “enemies” surrounding President Buhari are but we have a few ideas

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, ever the vocal one, has some more to say today and it concerns us directly here, on the Presidential Blog. We feel very shaded but we’ll swallow our pride and take the best of it.

Aside: Did you know the Emir has 192,000 followers on Instagram? 86,000 more than the President and over a 100,000 more than his photographer, Bayo Omoboriowo. 90,000 more than the wife of the President. Also, how does the Vice President still have a measly 8,456 followers on Instagram? You all obviously have some following to do

So back to the issue…

Some minutes ago, the Emir shared a very blunt and serious message with his 192,ooo followers and to President @MuhammaduBuhari directly. What we get from it is that the President is getting some things all wrong and it’s extremely saddening for Sanusi Lamido Sanusi to stomach the lack of guts of those around him who are failing woefully at telling him the truth.

We think we get it because we are thinking of the big elephant in the room who never ate the grass he was paid to. Like President Buhari’s goodwill rest solely on his oath to weed out corruption in Nigeria; something Nigerians have been pining for. Yet, his Chief of Staff, Babachir has been accused of some major corrupt stuff. To top that off, the President seems at best, to be on his side and at worst, unperturbed by the idea of it.

We think we get why the Emir is so riled up. Considering the fact that this administration has probably the highest number of #NotTooYoungToRule poster boys on board, one would assume that one of them would have been bold enough to admit for once where this frustrating administration is going wrong – from the economy to the extremely mind-blowingly bias anti-corruption business and worst still, the lethargic there’s-plenty-of-time attitude to governing a country that frankly will have to play catch-up for a very long time.

We think we get the Emir. But we’ll let you decide.
