One of Nigeria’s oldest publications, Punch Newspapers hasn’t always exhibited an adept knowledge of the tricky nature of adapting to the digital media space. This is par for the course with many traditional media outlets, really, but every now and then, something happens to underscore the importance of tapping into the potential of new media. Such was the case with a Punch editorial from last month, which (cheesy pun alert) pulled no punches in deconstructing the actions of our present and immediate past governments, setting Nigerian cyberspace alight in the process.

Elsewhere, Zikoko continues it’s steady ascent, hitting the top 3 this week, sustaining its momentum due to the consistent release of its buzzy video series.
