According to unconfirmed reports, Chief Ibibia Walter, Rivers State Commissioner for Water Resources has been abducted by unknown gunmen.

Walter was said to have been on his way to Okrika to take part in the rerun elections in the state when he was abducted.

Also, a candidate for the House of representative re-run election billed to hold in Rivers state on staurday, Barry Mpigi, is alleged to have invaded the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission in the state and carted away electoral material.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party has alleged the arrest of its agents in Ward 8 in Okirika local government area of Rivers state.

In another incident of electoral anomaly, a staff of the INEC in Bonny ward 4, has reportedly ‘confirmed’ that all the result sheets in the ward are fake.
