STV, Rhythm FM reopen for business one day after AMCON closure

There’s been some semblance of respite for Silverbird Group of Companies owned by Senator Ben Murray Bruce – after the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria closed down the establishment over an unpaid debt of N11 billion.

The initial ugliness of Thursday seems to be over as the management of one of the companies in the group has announced the reopening of business.

Silverbird Communications Limited, in a statement released on Friday, apologised for the disruption of its operations following the closure.

Silverbird Communications Limited houses Silverbird Television and Rhythm FM.

The company further assured its millions of viewers that it is committed to the provision of quality services.

“The Management of Silverbird Communications Ltd, owners of Rhythm Fm and Silverbird TV sincerely apologise to its numerous viewers, Listeners and on line subscribers over the disruption of our operations across Television, Radio and online Media.”

“This was due to a situation beyond our control, however, we are pleased to inform you that we are back on air on Radio Television and on our on line platform.”

“We thank you for your patience and understanding at this time. We remain committed to the provision of quality infotainment and premium service across our platforms.”
