Singer, Skales and his manager, Osagie Osarenkhoe are reportedly in police detention after being invited to clarify allegations of fraud levelled against them by their record label, Baseline Music.
This was revealed by a certain Wale Ewedemi, General Manager, Base FM, Lagos, who is an affiliate of Baseline Music.
He said Skales and Osagie were still with the police as at 12 midnight “after confessing to various charges of fraud and diversion of Baseline Records funds”.
He revealed this through his Instagram page.
We have reason to believe this might carry some iota of truth as Osagie, who tweeted about the incident as at 11am on Tuesday morning, has not said a word about it since then.
Skales, who has reportedly left Baseline records, is also nowhere to be found as his last social media post was also yesterday morning.
