Southern Kaduna: Police arrest suspected killers of herdsmen

The Police in Kaduna on Monday said it has arrested three suspects involved in the killing of two Fulani herdsmen on Saturday.

Commissioner of Police, Agyole Abeh said the herdsmen were killed at Unguwan Luka in Jema’a Local Government Area while grazing their livestock.

He said the suspects were arrested after a tip-off from some Nigerians.

He said the suspects will soon be charged to court after making confessional statements.

He declared that peace was gradually returning to southern Kaduna, and urged the general public  to go about their normal businesses.

“I want to assure the people of the state of my resolve to flush out all forms of crime and criminality in the area,” he said.
