On Wednesday night, Steven Gerrard become the third Liverpool player in their history, to rack up 700 appearances for the club.
The Reds’ captain led the team out on Wednesday, in their FA Cup fourth round replay against Bolton Wanderers and in doing so, joined an exclusive band of former players like Ian Callaghan and Jamie Carragher.
Gerrard has spent his entire football career at Anfield and wore a special pair of boots with the No 700 on them, to mark the special occasion.
The former England international is set to leave for LA Galaxy in the summer and will likely remain third behind Callaghan (857) and Carragher (737).
