The short clip, filmed by snake owner Jenner Miemietz in her German apartment, was uploaded to Vimeo about three years ago and has now gone viral.
Miemietz wrote on her page:
‘Bored of being in a dark room, she flips on the light, opens the door and bails.
‘This particular episode takes place at 1am.
‘This is why we keep doors locked with her around.
‘We don’t need her harassing the neighbors.’
Business Insider reports Julius passed in 2012 due to an infection.
Pythons have been known to eat deer, pigs, primates and alligators, but can be house-trained.
The world’s largest captive snake was a 25ft, 22st python called Medusa, who lived in Kansas City and capable of killing and consuming animals that weigh as much as a healthy adult.
