The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant has announced plans to mint its own currency.
The terrorist organization’s currency will include seven coins: two gold, three silver and two copper.
According to a statement released by the group on Thursday, the objective of the new currency “is to stay away from the tyrant’s financial system.”
ISIS says it would issue another statement to explain the new currency’s exchange rate, and where it can be found.
The group said, the move is “purely dedicated to God” and will remove Muslims from the “global economic system that is based on satanic usury.”
ISIS, which already has the title of the richest terrorist organisation in the world, has seized large parts of Iraq and Syria, where it has declared under Islamic rule.
