On Friday, 5th August, MTV Base and Silverbird Television (STV) will celebrate the official launch of “The Big Friday Show”, a brand new Friday night entertainment show that is set to change the face of night time TV. It will every Friday night from 6:00pm-7:00pm on STV’s MTV Block.

The Big Friday Show is a super cool variety show that serves Naija youth culture on a platter. It will feature a high profile host interviewing various celebrities. Other items on the menu include entertainment news, the hottest music videos, musical performances and a round up of the week’s coolest tweets, e-mails, messages and facebook comments.

Performing at the launch will be a host of Nigeria’s hottest A-list acts; Ice Prince, Waje, Dr Sid and Wizkid, with DJs Smooth, Neptunes and Snoop mixing up the best of the world’s music.

The launch will hold at Rehab and tickets cost N3,000 only. Doors open at 9pm starting with the Ice-blue carpet show. Tickets are available at the Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island.
