Afolabi Fagbemi Emmanuel popularly called Folabi Nuel is a singer, songwriter, worship leader, recording artist and preacher. He serves as the Music Director of the LifePointe Church; the Youth church of The Elevation Church, Nigeria.

At first, Folabi Nuel was one of those singers said to sound like Travis Greene who has influenced his music in no little way. But, with time, we have seen him perfectly transcend into being a unique voice with his special style of pop/soft rock, not forgetting his guitar which he hardly performs without.

His debut album, Good God; was released in February 2017 and featured top acts like Florocka and Wole Oni. Anyone who thought that was all there is to Folabi Nuel could definitely not see far. Apparently, it was the beginning of a journey for the young, passionate singer. Before the release of the Good God album, Folabi had released singles like Everlasting and You love me; part of which formed his entry into the public glare of the Gospel music scene in Nigeria

In August 2017, he had a live studio recording for what would be another album; Good God Album (Deluxe Edition). Recently, he started releasing some hits off the live recording session which has got us applauding; song after song. First, he started with My Heart; a song that caught everyone by storm and very recently; More which has garnered very favourable reception from his audience.

In the past few months, Folabi Nuel has featured on several listicles, spontaneous worship session with TY Bello, celebrity interviews and Gospel music countdown including our very own Top 10 Gospel Music countdown.

While he might not be one of the “in-your-face” gospel musicians at the moment, Folabi Nuel is definitely going to be around for a long time and this can be attributed to his commitment to His relationship with God, His art, his unique blend of fine sound, his originality, simplicity and his connection with an audience that never ceases to love him amongst many others.

With his newly released single; More, we can proudly say that Folabi Nuel is creating a path for himself in the gospel music scene and on an international scale.

I wrote this song in my final year of college/university, I think… I remember feeling so much void and emptiness and how desperate I was for something different… I started to write – we want more, we open the door and let the King come in… we declare in one accord Let the king come in….. with the host of Heaven We declare you reign on high…. with 10,000 tongues and more We proclaim your name on high…… We declare you HOLY!!!!!……

Yes, Folabi, we want more (Pun intended). Can you please, kindly release the album already? We can’t wait anymore.
