Finally, we have a trailer for Bobrisky in Love, the Ken Steve Anuka film that seemingly puts Bobrisky in a lead role. I love that Bob is gaining pop-cultural prominence with indie movies as this, and even though I think their acting needs a total brushing up, we can draw a small pleasure in seeing Bob entertain and delight beyond Snapchat and Instagram.
Watching the trailer, which is a joyfully chaotic and plotless footage, I observed that Bob is still in character: their role leaning towards the fun, bouncy persona projected through social media. I can’t recall any memorable line from the trailer, only that it stars Anita Joseph and Queen Nwokoye. The trailer, so bad that it’s good, gives an indication that the movie would be anything but serious. No release date has been announced.
