A new poll issued by public polling firm, NOI Polls offers new insight into how Nigerians make entertainment decisions – specifically for movies, and why your incessant complaints about Rukky Sanda or Tonto Dikeh might keep falling on deaf ears.

According to the poll issues today, “56% of Nigerians are attracted to watch films because of the actor or actress involved.”

Come to think of it though – this should be something of a no-brainer, no?

40% of Nigerians prefer watching movies with a comedy theme while 39% prefer to watch movies with drama #Nigeria. And then this one on improvement in Nollywood:
