In the ranking of nations, Nigeria has not been able to scale its third-world status, particularly economically. Poverty continues to devastate the country, and this not for lack of natural resources, agricultural or mineral. The question then is, what has held us backwards this long? Is it our leaders, economic policies, ignorance or something else entirely?
