All is not well in the world today, and no, this is not about Trump’s executive orders. It is that the government keeps cooking up ways to stop Nigerians from protesting against it.
Some days ago, 2baba rallied Nigerians with a message calling for a protest against the economic hardship this government has put its citizens through.
But then the opposition rose up: SA to Buhari on social media, Lauretta Onochie, gave 2Baba an unnecessary challenge. The Buharists also came out to say they will be protesting against the protesters.
Now it’s the Lagos police saying the won’t allow the protest to hold because they have received information that it would be hijacked by hoodlums.
Well, here’s what Nigerians have to say:
Mtcheww. When sniper is now 500naira. Lagos police should come and arrest mosquitoes for me nah..

The police have banned Tuface from organising his protest
This is more reason for us to to go out and protest on that day#IstandwithTuface— Akondu (@DavidAkondu) February 2, 2017
So @MBuhari and @ProfOsinbajo have turned Lagos police on Nigerians who want to lawfully protest against hardship.
So much for CHANGE.— Babanla (@biolakazeem) February 2, 2017
Before the Lagos Police command stops Tuface's protest, they should remember we are suffering together under the same taskmasters
