Every day, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are even just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
Here’s our list from today:
1 Babatunde Rosanwo
Kemi Olunloyo was arrested on Tuesday over her blog post on Salvation Ministries General Overseer, Pastor David Ibiyeomie. Twitter NG has been strangely silent about her release.
Babatunde has a few words to say about the matter.
Kemi Olunloyo in PH Prison for blog posting https://t.co/WNyLi0sI7U

If Kemi Olunloyo posted a complaint letter about a pastor from a church member, the pastor should sue her, this is a civil case.

When our hero was signing this balderdash into law, they assumed power for ever. Now in opposition, I wait to see how it affect them.
— Rosanwo (@rosanwo) March 17, 2017
With a government opposed to any form of criticism, they cyber crime law is a good tool for shutting down voices.
— Rosanwo (@rosanwo) March 17, 2017
it should read 'for malicious blog posting' please.

2. Chris Ogunlowo
Writer and entrepreneur made an interesting discovery:
I just discovered there's a marketing demography called HENRYs – High Earners Not Rich Yet. Social class labels are weird!
— Chris Ogunlowo (@chrisogunlowo) March 17, 2017
We learn everyday.
3. @UgoTalksAlot
The blogger simply could not hold back his disappointment with the Nigerian system.
"Incapacitating people and making them see you as a capable God" is a viable political business in Nigeria https://t.co/FiLfYkvM7W

You are right. Very viable enterprise. Assures you of good will forever. They can’t say you did not do anything for them, either.
4 Akin Akintayo
So it appears we have a Femi Adesina impersonator. No wonder. That explains it: all those batty tweets and FB posts and TV broadcasts, it was the work of the impersonator. Was it?
Akin just wants to tear the dude up. Visit the sins of the principal on the pupil.
Someone impersonating Femi Adesina?
Bring him over for a flogging. I would take my frustration with the principal out on him. https://t.co/DHcdZGKgOU— Akin Akíntáyọ̀ #FBPE (@forakin) March 17, 2017
Imagine the satisfaction.
5. Victor Asemota
Why is the Nigerian tech industry suffering? Corruption.
1. I wrote in the Guardian last week about what killed our tech growth after the 90s. It was corruption – https://t.co/pzuwKdlPer
— Victor Asemota (@asemota) March 17, 2017
2. It should have been titled "Hubris and Corruption in Tech". The main problem with African tech has always been "Hubris". We never learn
— Victor Asemota (@asemota) March 17, 2017
3. We need humility to recognise our defects and flaws before we can fix them. If we keep pretending that they don't exist, we will be dead
— Victor Asemota (@asemota) March 17, 2017
*Sigh*
6 Oby Ezekwesili
Co-founder of Transparency International and activist, Obiageli Ezekwesili would have the presidency know that the 3 year Anniversary of the Chibok girls capture is almost here.

7. Elnathan John
After Buzzfeed carried the news of the discovery of a poem President Trump referenced in his lunch on Capitol Hill to celebrate St Patrick’s Day, as written by a Nigerian banker, Albashir Adam Alhassan, Elnathan John – author of Born on a Tuesday- has come forward with information which shows the poem may not have in fact been written by said Nigerian.
