A Dana Air plane arriving Lagos from Abuja, the nation’s capital, crashed today. This is coming barely 24 hours after a cargo plane from Nigeria had crashed at the Kotoka International Airport, Ghana, killing twelve people.
The Dana aircraft is believed to have crashed into a power line in the Iju Area of Lagos State. Rescue helicopters have been hovering over the area.
However, the DG of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed that there are no survivors from the crash.
There were 153 people on board the aircraft.
