MONDAY: As the new week started, @umexix tweeted: “So much to do this week.. Baba God help me achieve them..”

‘@Sir_Scribbles’ was itching for drama at work and he got it. “Oh 1 of my co-workers reported to d manager dat anoda co-worker likes leaving work early. Finally, some drama!”

@Nsuaha went food tasting but was left disappointed. “Abegi! Amala is overrated jare! Tasted that stuff 2dai….as in, no words to describe how disappointed I was!…”

On her part, @MissEdoho was glad she was in school. “I really like university, apart from the work load. you’re exposed to a wide range of subject matter and you’re pretty much well-informed.”

TUESDAY:  @DONJAZZY informed his followers that Wande Coal would drop three singles today and the buzz was so much so that @wandecoal trended worldwide.

“Mehn! I’m itching to download those songs,” @dibsoor admitted. “It’s been long since I heard tht magical voice.”

The singles were eventually uploaded to MoHits’ website and in a matter of minutes, the site had crashed. But some tweeters already had the song and were raving about it.

@Ogagus_ didn’t feel like jumping on the band wagon. “I will be the judge when I listen because Nigerians can over hype, over 60% of them tweeting ‘Go Low is sick’ never hear am.”

WEDNESDAY:  Artiste, Craig David was the talk of Twitter today. “So Craig David (finally) admits to being gay,” @kpeetee said. “Makes u wonder who was ‘filling him in’ and what was ‘rising and falling’”

“But I am not surprised Craig David is gay,” @madamneka declared. “ All those carvings were a bit over D top. How tragic that all those gr8 lyrics was 4 a man☹”

It was bad news for Manchester United fans as their team dropped in the Europa League. “I dunno who sent me to watch this match in this my critical health condition, now the illness has increased :'(“@Pengboiz lamented.

As others lost hope in their team @seyitaylor was gaining it in an idea. “I think it’s time to launch that other small business product I was thinking of launching. Thank you Facebook!!!”

THURSDAY: @KwameNaija hit a landmark on Twitter and bragged about. “And my 1000th tweet is dedicated to those who thought I’d never make it this far, e.g Andre Blaze! C u same time next year 4 my 2000th!” he joked.

@UnilagOlodo had some burning questions about uni. “What’s the 411 on ASUU Strike? when are we going back to school?”

@0lukayodeh also wanted to avoid a standstill. “That traffic in Lasgidi better ease up o…I’m coming and I don’t want any kinikan kinikan”

FRIDAY: In Lagos, a picture of a girl allegedly butchered by her boyfriend made its way unto the Internet and became the main topic for discussion.

“OMG!!!! see hoω they slaughtered this cute lady!” @demofoxy screamed. “Some guys are effin brutal! All in the name of anger her bf slaughtered her…. Smh.”

@Mz411 shared her experience with her followers. “I remember years ago, one boyfriend hit me…. He will never forget me….he has permanent scars all over his body. I hit back and left.”

 

SATURDAY: It’s been a sensational year for Arsenal’s Robin van Persie and he struck a magnificent win against Everton today.

@Illuminatish gushed over the striker’s stats. “January to May 2011 (last season), RvP scored 18 goals. August to present, he has 15 goals so far… #FlyingDutchman toh potent!”

A rival fan, @AndyMadaki, wasn’t enjoying van Persie’s form. “Na wa for this Van Persie o. He will jst be scoring anyhow. Now there’ll be pressure on Chelsea.”

What @iTire4Twita wasn’t impressed with was Wizkid’s new video. “Ah! Ikechukwu’s bu lie oto beats wizkids video abeg. Pfffff! I’d stay listenin 2 pakurumo audio. Thank u!”
