As usual, the Nigerian social media landscape is always brimming with something noteworthy. In the past, we have seen the stereotype-dismantling #WeAreNigerianCreatives and the socially combative #EndSARS. Since yesterday, the Nigerian internet has blissfully been caught in #FineIgboTwitter and #FineYorubaTwitter, two hashtags showcasing people from the major ethnic groups.
I’d first stumbled on #FineYorubaTwitter and its fine offerings, only to veer into its Igbo counterpart and discover it’s doing well. The comments from both camps are hilarious and the banter is great. It’s a tough one, but I’ll let you decide.
Wait. #FineYorubaTwitter is a thing?! Excuse me while I just drop my pics and go… pic.twitter.com/DET4JAQXVv

When Bernard Dayo isn’t writing about pop culture, he’s watching horror movies and reading comics and trying to pretend his addiction to Netflix isn’t a serious condition.
