‘Biafra will teach Nigeria how to conduct crisis-free elections’ – Ralph Uwazuruike

The Ralph Uwazuruike-led Biafra Independent Movement (BIM) said on Wednesday that Nigeria can learn a thing or two, from its forthcoming election.

The BIM will hold elections on February 22- into wards, provinces, districts, regions and zones in the South-east and South-south.

Uwazuruike, founder of BIM, while speaking in Enugu during a sensitization programme for the upcoming election, stated that the ‘Biafran dream would soon be realized’.

“Our election will not be conducted same way as that of Nigeria; BIM will not give room for election rigging as is the case in Nigeria,” said Uwazuruike, who was represented by Augustina Ugwuoke.”

“We are well prepared; we will teach Nigerians how to conduct crisis-free election. The processes as you can see have commenced. We have also commenced preparations for our census which will take place in the entire Biafra region to ascertain our population.”

“I commend you all for your steadfastness in the struggle as well as donation of lands towards the building of Ojukwu Memorial Library in the Enugu North Senatorial Zone. Your sacrifices will not be forgotten.”
