Ozo wins head of house
There is no better time to have a competitive advantage than in the nick of a contest. The same can be said for the contestants in the Big Brother Naija house who have made it this far. With just four weeks to go, every move is crucial and every win more relevant. No win more so that the head of house, which grants you immunity from eviction, and gives you yet another week to win the fans over.
For this week, Ozo managed to bag this prize. He had the best performance during the head of house games, and inadvertently became the head of house.
Deputy head of house
As expected, Ozo chose Nengi as his deputy. It is not clear why the rule insists the deputy must be the opposite sex, but a guess will point to the fact that Big Brother intends to spice things up.
For starters, the head of house and deputy are required to sleep on the same bed. You can certainly see how this could make for some interesting turn of events, but in the case of Ozo and Nengi, Nengi has made it clear that sleeping on the same bed with Ozo will not lead to anything enthralling.
She made sure to get separate duvets so there is no funny business under the sheets, she also made sure to put a pillow between them, so Ozo does not cross into her space.
Well, it seems Big Brother’s plan – this time for Ozo and Nengi – may have hit a brick wall.
Dairy room talks
Prior to the head of house games, Big Brother spent most of the day, catching up with the housemates, here’s are some interesting things a few housemates disclosed.
Laycon still feels some type of way about the question Ebuka asked Vee on the Sunday night eviction show. He said he wished he was given a chance to speak. He also told Biggie that he is tired of the whole issue, one moment he is talking to Erica, the next, he is trying to give her space.
This, he claims is where Vee steps in. According to Laycon, he explained that he can be excessively biased when it comes to Erica. He just can’t say no to her, but Vee is his reality check, a sort of voice of reason, and he stated that she is a friend that advises him to make the right decision.
He confirmed that everything Vee said on Sunday is factual, and he wishes to let Erica know that.
Erica’s dairy session turned out to be quite interesting, for a comment she made. When asked about relationships in the house, she told Big Brother that she is not looking for love, and Kiddwaya is more like a best friend.
Fans online took to discussing the comment, calling the actress delusional. Some simply said she was protecting herself. For the viewers watching, she is not fooling anyone with her statement. Her feelings for Kidd couldn’t be any more obvious, as she can’t seem to go a minute without him.
She later spoke about Vee and Neo, and Ozo and Nengi. She stated that what Vee and Neo have is real, though they need to put in more work. For Ozo and Nengi, she said she knows Ozo likes Nengi, but is not sure it is the same for Nengi.

If you are familiar with this season so far, you may have noticed the bond between Tolanibaj and Vee. Yet, during the nominations on Sunday, Tolani opted to vote Vee out. Fortunately, Vee had the least vote and was saved.
During Tolani’s diary room session, Big Brother asked her why she voted her ‘friend.’ Tolani’s response was that she knew other housemates wouldn’t vote her out, so she decided to cast her vote to Vee, and give Trickytee and Wathoni a chance.
A plot twist indeed, especially when you consider she has had issues with Wathoni.
After the nominations on Sunday, both Praise and Wathoni had the most votes. A tie-breaker was needed and the head of house Kiddwaya was given the responsibility to pick one out. He chose to evict Praise.
When asked why, he stated that Praise is not on his level, as he has a habit of making jokes at the expense of others. He also spoke about using his connections to help his fellow housemates meet their goals, once the show is over.
Wathoni spoke to Big Brother about Brighto, declaring that she really, really likes him, and she hopes the feeling is mutual.
The drama continues.
For Chinedu Okafor, its all about making an impact with words, creating a profound impression on the audience with the intended narrative.
