Jonathan visits Dasuki family (PHOTOS)

Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday paid a visit to the family of Ibrahim Dasuki, a late Sultan of Sokoto who died on Monday.

Jonathan also took time out to sign the condolence register during his visit as he condoled with the Dasuki family and the Sokoto monarchy.

Writing on his Twitter page, Jonathan said, “I travelled to Sokoto this afternoon to condole with the family of the late Former Sultan Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki and the current Monarch.

“I thank the Dasuki Family, the Sultan, the Government and the good people of Sokoto State for their warm welcome and wonderful hospitality.”

The late Sultan is the father of Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd), who was Jonathan’s National Security Adviser during his tenure as president.
