The leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau has threatened to attack Cameroon in a video message on YouTube.
In the message, Shekau warned that the country would suffer the same terror attacks “that has befallen Nigeria”.
The video was posted on Monday, January 5, and was directly addressed to Cameroon’s President Paul Biya.
Shekau said in Arabic: “Oh Paul Biya, if you don’t stop this, your evil plot, you will taste what has befallen Nigeria… Your troops cannot do anything to us.”
